Today, enjoy a full-day exploration of Ubud, the cultural heart of Bali.

Begin your journey with a visit to the Ubud Monkey Forest, located in Padangtegal Village. This lush sanctuary, home to hundreds of playful long-tailed macaques, is conveniently situated near Ubud town center — just a short walk from Jalan Hanoman and the well-known Jalan Monkey Forest.

Continue to the Ubud Palace (Puri Saren Agung), the former royal residence built during the reign of Tjokorda Putu Kandel (1800–1823). Admire the elegant Balinese architecture and beautifully maintained gardens, recently renovated to restore the palace’s timeless charm.

Next, visit the iconic Tegallalang Rice Terraces, famous for their emerald-green landscape and breathtaking views. Walk along the terraces to observe local farmers at work, and enjoy an exciting experience on the Ubud Swing — designed for adventure seekers and those looking for stunning, “Instagram-worthy” photos.

(Includes Ubud Swing experience.)

Afterward, explore the sacred Tirta Empul Temple, one of Bali’s most revered Hindu temples. Known for its holy spring water, Tirta Empul offers visitors a chance to participate in traditional purification rituals. The temple’s name means “Holy Spring,” and the locals refer to its water as Amritha, or “holy water.” It’s a serene place where spirituality and culture come together beautifully.

Conclude your day with a visit to Tegenungan Waterfall, a beautiful and hidden natural attraction surrounded by lush greenery. With its powerful cascade and tranquil pool, it’s the perfect spot for swimming or simply enjoying the refreshing atmosphere.

Morning: Pick up from your hotel and transfer to the Ubud Market, where you’ll handpick fresh herbs, aromatic spices, crisp vegetables, and premium cuts of meat — the foundation for your authentic Balinese cooking experience. Stop by the Ubud Rice Fields before heading off on a guided “padi” walk, where you’ll learn about traditional rice cultivation and local farming life.

Return to Laplapan Village, where you’ll be warmly welcomed by your hosts. Under the guidance of Balinese chefs, you’ll learn to prepare and cook a variety of authentic Balinese dishes using locally grown and sourced ingredients. The class is conducted in English in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere within a beautiful kitchen garden.

During the session, you’ll also experience traditional coconut oil processing and learn to make a simple Balinese offering - a meaningful insight into the island’s daily spiritual life. Between lessons, explore Laplapan Village, meet local farmers, and visit a family temple to experience genuine Balinese village culture.

You’ll receive recipes and notes to take home, and you can choose between meat or vegetarian dishes to prepare.

The cooking class concludes with a delicious lunch featuring the dishes you’ve created.

Morning: Check out from your hotel and drive to Pemuteran for your overnight stay. En route, enjoy several scenic and cultural stops showcasing the natural beauty of central Bali.

Your first stop is at Jatiluwih, a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most stunning rice terrace landscapes on the island. For nature lovers, the vivid green terraces of Jatiluwih are truly captivating. Take a leisurely walk along the narrow paths to experience the serenity of the fields up close, passing by small huts and traditional plantations.

Continue to Ulun Danu Bratan Temple, one of Bali’s most iconic landmarks. This picturesque water temple is beautifully set on the shores of Lake Bratan, with parts of the temple appearing to “float” on the calm lake surface — a sight that perfectly captures Bali’s spiritual harmony with nature.

Before reaching Pemuteran, stop at the famous Handara Iconic Gate. Framed by lush green hills and often mist-covered mountain backdrops, this majestic Balinese gate offers one of the most photogenic spots in Bali - perfect for a memorable holiday picture.

Arrive in Pemuteran in the late afternoon and check in to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Morning: Take a short boat ride from Banyuwedang Beach to the famous Menjangan Island, one of Bali’s premier destinations for world-class snorkeling and diving.

Explore the island’s vibrant underwater paradise with your experienced guide, who will lead you through stunning coral gardens teeming with marine life. As you drift along the reef walls, you’ll encounter a variety of fascinating sea creatures, including electric clams, scorpionfish, starfish, eels, and schools of colorful reef fish.

This unforgettable marine adventure offers a glimpse into one of Bali’s most pristine and biodiverse underwater ecosystems - a true haven for ocean lovers.

Morning: Drive into the heart of West Bali National Park, located along the western coast of the Prapat Agung Peninsula. This protected area is dominated by monsoon forest and savanna landscapes and serves as a vital conservation zone for Bali’s diverse wildlife.

The park is home to various species of vertebrates, including black monkeys (Presbytis cristata), long-tailed macaques, barking deer (Cervus timorensis), mouse deer (Tragulus javanicus), wild boar, wild cats, monitor lizards (Varanus salvator), and numerous bird species such as green junglefowl, eagles, and owls. The region also shelters rare and endangered plant species, including Manilkara kauki, Panggal Buaya, and sandalwood (Santalum album).

Continue your journey to Tegal Bunder, where you’ll visit the Bali Starling (Leucopsar rothschildi) Sanctuary. Here, you’ll learn about the park’s conservation and breeding programs dedicated to protecting this critically endangered bird — a true symbol of Bali’s natural heritage.

After your visit, return to your hotel for overnight.

Morning: Begin your day in Munduk with a refreshing walk through the region’s orange and flower plantations, surrounded by cool mountain air and lush greenery. Continue descending to a fertile plateau filled with ancient clove and coffee trees, where the scent of spice and coffee lingers in the breeze. Your walk concludes at one of Bali’s most magnificent waterfalls, where the refreshing mist and cool breeze of the cascading spring water create a tranquil and rejuvenating atmosphere.

Next, visit Vihara Dharma Giri, a beautiful Buddhist temple located in the village of Pupuan, Tabanan. The temple is best known for its striking white reclining Buddha statue, one of the largest in Bali. Surrounded by serene rice terraces, this peaceful temple offers a glimpse into the island’s spiritual diversity and is one of Pupuan’s most cherished landmarks.

Continue to Bunut Bolong, a fascinating giant bunut tree in the village of Manggisari, Jembrana. Considered sacred by the locals, this centuries-old tree features a large natural hole (“bolong”) through its trunk, allowing vehicles to pass beneath it. “Bunut” refers to a tree species similar to the banyan, and the name Bunut Bolong literally means “the tree with a hole.” This remarkable natural landmark is a symbol of harmony between nature and spirituality in Balinese culture.
